Each camper gets a daily 20-minute private swim lesson with the same instructor all week, helping them build trust, confidence, and real progress in the water.
Swim lessons take place during the first part of the day, so all campers finish at the same time and can jump right into the rest of camp together. This means your child gets focused, personalized instruction without missing out on any of the fun.
-
After swim time, campers continue their morning with fun, supervised activities that reinforce what they’re learning in the water.
They’ll enjoy hands-on arts and crafts, like creating water safety charts and themed projects, along with interactive water safety stations that help them understand how to stay safe in and around the water.
This combination helps kids not only build skills, but also remember and apply them with confidence.
-
To help your child have a smooth and enjoyable day at camp, please make sure they arrive with:
Swimsuit (arrive dressed if possible for an easy start to swim time)

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Drop-off begins at 8:45 AM, and camp programming starts promptly at 9:00 AM.
If your child arrives late, we may not be able to make up missed swim lesson time. Swim lessons are scheduled in advance and run back-to-back with little room for adjustments.
Please notify us in advance if you anticipate a late arrival so we can assist with check-in.
-
If your child is sick or unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible by submitting an absence through our Aqua Duks app. We are unable to offer refunds or credits for missed camp days.
Please see the Aqua Duks Cancellation Policy for more info.
We ask that students showing signs of illness (fever, vomiting, diarrhea, cough, rash, etc.) stay home for the safety of others. If a camper becomes ill during the camp day, a parent or authorized contact will be called for immediate pick-up.
Due to the structure and limited space of the Summer Swim Camp, missed camp days cannot be refunded, credited, or rescheduled for another day of camp.
However, if your child is absent due to illness and you notify us before 9:00 AM, we will issue a make-up swim lesson token for the missed day’s private lesson.
-
If your child requires medication during camp hours (including inhalers, EpiPens, or allergy meds), you must submit a Medication Authorization Form prior to the first day.
All medications must be clearly labeled and stored in the original container.
Medication will only be administered by trained staff, in accordance with written instructions provided by the parent/guardian.
Please notify us of any allergies or health conditions (food, environmental, medical) so we can make appropriate accommodations.
-
Aqua Duks prioritizes safety in and around the water at all times. Campers are expected to follow pool rules, listen to instructor and staff directions, and respect boundaries set during swim activities.
All swim instruction and recreational swim are closely supervised by certified instructors, lifeguards, and staff.
Campers must demonstrate readiness for independent participation in a group setting.
Unsafe or repeatedly disruptive behavior in or near the water may result in temporary removal from activities or dismissal from the program if unresolved.
-
Campers must be fully potty trained and able to use the restroom independently. This includes using the restroom without assistance and changing themselves into their swimsuit when needed. Aqua Duks staff are not able to assist with toileting or changing clothing.
